PAST FUNDRAISING PROJECTS

With the generous support of our residents, families, staff and community we are thrilled to have completed the following projects which are being enjoyed each day by our residents;

 

Kings Way Care Centre

  • Kennebecasis Neighbourhood-Kitchen Renovation, $10,000 – donated by Ed Haynes
  • Sensory Room: $25,000 raised through Donations from our staff, residents and their families and the Greater Saint John Community Foundation
  • Kennebecasis Neighbourhood Courtyard: $25,000 from the Faye and David Huestis Family Foundation
  • Rothesay Neighborhood Court Yard 1: $35,000 from Jim Hutton and Ivan Ho of Kennebecasis Drugs
  • Solarium/ Sun Room: $110,000: Major Contributors: Sir James Dunn Centennial Trust, Windsor Foundation, JDI, Town of Rothesay, Kings Way Assembly, annual walkathon fundraisers.

 

Kennebec Manor

  • Bus at Kennebec $75,000: Tom and Pam May (Proline Automotive Supply LTD.,) & Resident fundraising
  • Wheelchair glider swing $6,500- Residents, family, staff, community donations and Family Fun Days
  • Blanket Warmer $5,000- Residents, family, staff, community donations and Family Fun Days
  • Front Entrance Furniture $4,000: Residents, family, staff, community donations and Family Fun Days
