OUR HISTORY

KINGS WAY CARE CENTRE

Kings Way Care Centre opened its doors February 14, 2008 in the small town of Quispamsis, New Brunswick. The story of Kings Way began in 2000 with Mayor Murray Driscoll identifying the need for a nursing home in the Valley. He went door to door looking for a group to lead the charge and wound up connecting with Ken Moore from Kings Way Assembly and the rest as they say is history…

KENNEBEC MANOR

The idea of Kennebec started with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church which is located beside the home. The Adventist church desired to look further into the needs of their community and felt that building a long-term care centre answered those needs. The land for Kennebec Manor was donated by Gale Bullock and construction began in 1979. The home officially opened and welcomed residents in May of 1980.
